My name is Shahrzad Roshan Zamir and I am a fourth year at the University of Georgia graduating in May 2022. I’m pursuing a degree in International Affairs on a pre-law track. Participating in this internship is my first step to learning more about child welfare, the juvenile court, and the inner workings of an NGO. When I’m not reading about politics and international events, I enjoy cooking, trying new foods, and working out. I was partially raised in Iran, Dubai, and Athens. I’m very excited to work with the CASA team during the Spring semester.

I am currently a junior at UGA in the honors program, majoring in Journalism and minoring in Political Science. I plan on attending law school after my undergraduate studies, and I look forward to learning more about the CASA program this semester!

My name is McCartney Holland, and I am a third year at the University of Georgia. I plan to graduate in May of 2023 with degrees in Business Management and Psychology. Following graduation, I hope to attend law school. I was raised in Kennesaw, GA with my two younger sisters. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I also have a passion for photography and traveling to new places. I am thrilled to learn more about and work with the CASA program as an intern this semester.
