How can I donate to CASA?

Please consider making a monetary donation. Your donations will go directly to volunteers and staff. With your donations we can work towards hiring more staff members and providing more trainings and material to volunteers directly advocating for children. Your dollars go a long way to helping us serve the children of Clarke and Oconee counties.

Athens Oconee CASA is part of the umbrella organization Children First Inc. Children First, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization based in Athens, Ga. dedicated to promoting safe homes for children in times of family crisis. Children First administers three programs: Athens-Oconee CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Safe Care, and SPARC (Supportive Parenting and Access Resource Center).

Check out our 2020 Annual Report to find out more about what Children First, Inc has been doing and where we are headed!

CASA’s Resource and Opportunity Fund

If you would like your monetary donation to go directly to the children in foster care, please consider giving to our CASA’s Resource and Opportunity Fund. This pool of money is designated to support children in foster care by financially supporting opportunities such as school programs, summer camps, extracurriculars, and sports. It also allows children to be supplied with necessary resources such as beds, shoes, clothing, and job uniforms. This fund promotes a space for kids to create meaningful relationships and further develop their life skills to grow and succeed. With these funds, the children get to participate in activities that they otherwise would not be able to. We are hoping to help supplement the funding DFCS provides to a child each year, so that multiple endeavors are made possible. We strive to allow children to be children and with the help of your donation, we can provide that opportunity. *Please use the drop down box above to specify where which program you would like to donate to.
